Double Your Donation

Thirty-eight percent of households in Sarasota County struggle to afford their basic needs according to a study conducted by ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed). If you can afford to help, this program will double whatever you can afford.

The Louis and Gloria Flanzer Philanthropic Trust has extended the matching program to benefit nonprofits in the area. Donations from $5 through $500 per month are matched at 100%, up to a maximum of $3000 per year per donor/household, doubling the impact to the Food Pantry. All contributions must come directly from individual donors, their donor-advised funds or their personal foundations. However, restrictions apply – review the Trust’s terms and conditions at FlanzerTrust.org to see if your contribution qualifies.

NO matching contributions are allowed from corporations or partnerships, from faith-based organizations or houses of worship.
